Auction held to settle the estate of the late Richard & Shirley Robinson on site at the house and Robinson Historical Fireman’s Museum.
Richard worked his entire career as a fireman, retiring from the Grand Haven Fire Dept. as Fire Chief in 1991 after 30+ years of faithful public service. After his retirement he and Shirley had a dream of opening a Children’s Fireman’s Museum here in Newaygo County. They traveled the country searching out items for the museum, accumulating literally thousands of firefighting gear, toys, memorabilia and other firefighting related items, including 3 vintage operating fire trucks. You now have the rare opportunity to not only visit the museum, but to purchase all items at Public Auction. This will be a live on-site auction with selective items on live simulcast bidding. The house is also full of very nice antiques, collectibles and some farm primitives, along with clean household items. Make plans to be just east of M-37, south of M-82 in Newaygo Co. on Saturday October 16th @ 10:00AM for the start of this most interesting auction!
Lunch truck and port-a-jons on site, large pole barn in case of inclement weather.

1928 Seagrave Mod. 6BT Pumper fire truck, open station, 6-cylinder flat head Muskegon Continental engine, original condition, made in Columbus, OH, #53680, Manufactured 7-22-1928. Sells with all accessories including Pike pole, ladder, hand bell, nozzles, fire extinguisher, spot light & hand crank siren. Always stored indoor, excellent condition, seen at many parades over the past 30 years, family owned for over 30 years! Runs, drives and looks GREAT! Family is working on getting a title, might sell with bill of sale.

Restored 1950 American Fire Apparatus fire engine, built on Ford F-7 chassis, duals, V-8 gas, with all attached accessories including wood ladder, hoses etc. originally from the Sparta, MI fire department, Engine needs water pump replaced, stored indoors. Sells with title.
